Archaeological test excavation of pad #44-1-0077 at Molong Creek : proposed realignment of the Mitchell Highway, Molong, NSW

This report documents the archaeological test excavations undertaken on land currently owned by David Farren, within the proposed corridor for the re-alignmment of the Mitchell Highway, north of Molong, NSW. Sub-surface testing focussed on the Potential Archaeological Deposit (PAD), extending north and south of the Molong Creek, identified during archaeological survey undertaken in November 2003 (ERM 2003)., The Oragge Local Aboriginal Land Council (OLALC) participated fully in the fieldwork programme through the invollvement of two representatives.
