ABOUT 4 PERCENT PAY FOR STREET METER PARKING AND ABOUT 2 PERCENT FOR OFF-STREET PARKING. NEARLY ONE-HALF OF ALL DRIVERS /46 PERCENT/ PARK ON THE STREET. THE PERCENTAGE OF DRIVERS PAYING FOR OFF-STREET PARKING DECLINES RAPIDLY AND REGULARLY FROM NEARLY 60 PER CENT IN THE LOOP TO NEARLY NOTHING IN RING 7.
