Managing Operational Performance...Exceeding Expectations. 2012 ITE Technical Conference and Exhibit
A decade ago, a national dialog on transportation operations began. Ten years later, the Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE) 2012 Technical Conference and Exhibit will help transportation professionals take the next step forward. This conference supports the development of transportation engineering, planning, and multidisciplinary professionals responsible for management and operations of transportation systems. The conference is designed to support transportation engineering, planning and multidisciplinary professionals responsible for management and operations of transportation systems. The meeting content will address the application and performance of multimodal transportation management strategies to exceed customer expectations within today’s budgetary constraints. The program will also seek to link transportation operations with livability, sustainability and economic competitiveness. Participation from transportation professionals, public agency management and decision-makers involved in transit, regional governance, policy development, intelligent transportation system (ITS) and traffic signal systems, management and operations, emergency response and vehicle technology development is strongly encouraged.
