REPORT ON THE LATERAL STABILITY OF ARTICULATED HIGHWAY VEHICLES
A THEORETICAL ANALYSIS IS BEING MADE OF THE LATERAL STABILITY CHARACTERISTICS OF CONVENTIONAL TRACTOR-TRAILER TRUCK COMBINATIONS. EQUATIONS OF MOTION ARE SOLVED BY USE OF A HIGH SPEED DIGITAL COMPUTER. PARTICULAR ATTENTION IS PAID TO THE INFLUENCE OF AERODYNAMIC FORCES WHICH ARE BEING STUDIED EXPERIMENTALLY USING SCALE MODELS TESTED IN A ROTATING ARM, WATER BASIN FACILITY. /SRIS/
