IMPROVING THE DISTRIBUTION THROUGH INCLINED FILTER PADS

As part of the development of filtration systems for naval gas turbines the fluid flow in the region of inclined filters was investigated theoretically and experimentally. Application of the analysis led to the development of shaped boundary walls and the production of uniform, normal flow through the filter.
