A safe bet
The Swedish National Road and Transport Research Institute (VTI)'s job is to collaborate with partners to research and create new technology for vehicle testing. While much of the focus is on driver behavior, the belief is that if safety improvements are to continue to develop, then the focus also needs to include testing and evaluating procedures for driver support systems, such as automatic emergency braking and automatic steering. The ways in which VTI plans to do this are discussed here.
