TRAFFIC ACCIDENTS ANALYSES /IN PORTUGUESE/
TRAFFIC ACCIDENTS RESULT FROM SEVERAL PSYCHOLOGICAL, PHYSIOLOGICAL, MORAL AND SOCIOLOGICAL FACTORS ASSOCIATED WITH OTHER FACTORS ORIGINATING FROM THE VEHICLE ITSELF AND ITS PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS, AND FROM THE HIGHWAY, BESIDES IMPONDERABLE FACTORS SUCH AS HAZARDS AND TIME. ALL THESE FACTORS CONSTITUTE THE HUMAN COMPONENT, THE MECHANICAL COMPONENT-THE AUTOMOBILE-AND THE ENVIRONMENT COMPONENT IN A FIGURATIVE SYSTEM. IN THIS CONCEPT THERE IS A SIMULTANEOUSNESS OF CAUSES THAT WHEN UNLOOSED MAY ORIGINATE THE EVENT: THE VEHICLE ACCIDENT. TO ANALYZE SUCH A COMPLEXITY OF FACTORS THERE IS THE NEED FOR A STUDY OF THE CIRCUMSTANCES AS THEY OCCUR. /RRI/
