Postfossile Mobilitaet ist mehr als Elektro-Verkehr! / Post-fossil mobility means more than electric transport!

Mobilitaet ist ein Grundbeduerfnis. Die heutige Auto-Dominanz ist allerdings nicht zukunftsfaehig. Klimaschutz und Peak Oil sowie die Dauer des Uebergangs zu postfossiler Mobilitaet verlangen neues Denken ab sofort. Verkehr der Zukunft benutzt Muskelkraft in der Naehe und sonst Strom aus erneuerbaren Energien. Nachhaltige postfossile Mobilitaet erfordert ein Gesamtkonzept: Multimodal im Mobilitaetsverbund, Mobilitaetsmanagement, nah in der Stadt der kurzen Wege, elektrisch unterwegs mit gruenem Strom und mit den Buergern fuer die Buerger. Fuer E-Autos gilt: Sie muessen ohne direkte finanzielle Foerderung erfolgreich sein; sie brauchen eine flaechendeckende Ladeinfrastruktur, aber nicht am Strassenrand; verkehrsrechtliche Nutzervorteile machen Sinn, aber Fussgaengerzonen und Busspuren muessen tabu bleiben. Der Beitrag schliesst ab mit einem Handlungskatalog. (A) ABSTRACT IN ENGLISH: Mobility is a basic need. However, today's dominance of the car is not sustainable. Climate protection and peak oil as well as the long lasting transition to post-fossil mobility claim for new thinking, immediately. Traffic of the future employs muscle power for short trips on foot and by bike and, otherwise, electric current from renewable energies. Sustainable post-fossil mobility demands a holistic concept: multi-modal within the mobility association, mobility management, nearby in the city of short distances, electrically on one's way with green current, and with the people for the people. The following applies to electric cars: They have to be successful without direct financial subsidies; they need an area-wide loading infrastructure, but not at the curbside; legal user incentives are justified, but pedestrian zones and bus lanes have to stay off-limits. The article concludes with a catalogue of action. (A)
