IS THE USER REALLY BENEFITING FROM CONTAINERIZATION
Problems experienced by British shippers in using containers are ascribed in large part to poor customer education by the container operators. The container operators are providing a service which can reduce the shippers costs but only if they are prepared, and able to make changes in production, materials handling, warehousing, packaging and despatch facilities.
