ROAD SAFETY ON CONSTRUCTION SITES IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE NEW ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATIONS
NEW RULES HAVE BEEN INCORPORATED IN THE GERMAN ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATIONS OF 1.3.71 ON ROAD SAFETY AT CONSTRUCTION SITES. DETAILS ARE GIVEN OF THE DUTIES OF THE AUTHORITIES AND THE CONTRACTORS, THE PLANNING OF TRAFFIC SIGNS, AND COMMUNICATION TO THE PUBLIC. THE SIGNIFICANT NEW REGULATIONS, THOSE WHICH RELATE TO TRAFFIC SIGNS FOR DIVERSIONS, WARNING DEVICES AND SIGNALING EQUIPMENT, ARE CONTAINED IN PARAGRAPHS 35-49 OF THE NEW ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATIONS AND THE APPORPRIATE GENERAL ADMINISTRATIVE SPECIFICATIONS, AND THESE ARE SUMMARIZED BRIEFLY IN THE ARTICLE. /TRRL/
