Electricity for Road Vehicles: Summary
This synopsis summarizes a longer report on the use of electric vehicles in Norway. Hybrid electric vehicles, plug-in electric vehicles, and fuel cell vehicles are all discussed. It is noted that electric vehicles will continue to be small in size, and they will be driven for relatively short trip lengths. If their market share is to be expanded, costs will have to be kept to a minimum and battery capacity will have to increase. It is expected that fuel cell vehicles and plug-in hybrids will be more relevant in the years 2015-2025 than they are currently.
