OKLAHOMA'S MEDICAL ADVISORY COMMITTEE FOR DRIVER LICENSING
EXPERIENCE HAS REVEALED THAT A LARGE NUMBER OF PERSONS, HERETOFORE UNABLE TO BE LICENSED DUE TO PHYSICAL DISABILITIES, HAVE BEEN ABLE TO RETAIN DRIVING PRIVILEGES WITH CERTAIN RESTRICTIONS AND PERIODIC MEDICAL REEVALUATION BY PHYSICIANS OF THEIR OWN SELECTION. PRIVATE PRACTITIONERS SHOULD KEEP IN MIND THE POTENTIAL DRIVING HAZARDS OF PATIENTS WITH CERTAIN PHYSICAL AND EMOTIONAL CONDITIONS AND COLLABORATE WITH THE MEDICAL ADIVSORY COMMITTEE WHEN APPROPRIATE./HSL/
