Application of Navigation System on the Cut Slope Management System in Korea
The accessibility of the cut slope location, cut slope's geotechnical information, failure history, remedial measures and other related slope information in the jobsite is the most crucial factor when it comes to the scientific and systematic management of cut slope. But since most of this information is stored in the office computer, it is very difficult for the road manager to access the cut slope information from the jobsite. This is the reason why the cut slope navigation system (hereafter will be referred to as "Slope-Navi) for the management of cut slope jobsite using Geographic Information Systems (GIS) technology and Navigation System was developed.
