LET DATA SPEAK: TIPS AND TOOLS TO USE DATA FOR OPTIMIZING PT

Innovations in Public Transport follow one another; AFC, NFC, fleet management, ITS. All with just one aim: improvement of public transport. But to what extent have these innovations really improved PT as a service? Have ridership, revenue and traveller perception really increased due to these new systems? In this presentation the author pleads to broadly use the data that is gathered in these systems and to let PT benefit from new insights.
