Visual Appeal
Technical improvements and more cost effective products have made machine vision a common component in many traffic control applications. Cameras are used for traffic surveillance, automatic license plate recognition and tolling. Vendors have responded to customer demands with better speed and improved resolution and increasingly are developing products for very specific applications.
