Evaluation of Connectivity Quality for Vehicle-to-Vehicle Communication System
In this paper, the authors report on the connectivity quality for a vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) communication system. V2V communication systems are anticipated to enhance safety, ecology, entertainment and other applications. The authors performed such field tests in the actual field for Non-Line-Of-Sight corners, curves, and intersections by using two experimental cars equipped with experimental V2V communication systems based on 5.8GHz IEEE802.11p. Moreover, the authors provide some methods that evaluate connectivity quality from results of field tests.
