AN EVALUATION OF THE SAFETY PERFORMANCE OF TRICYCLES AND MINIBIKES
EXPERIMENTAL AND ANALYTICAL RESEARCH METHODS ARE APPLIED TO THE STABILITY AND PERFORMANCE CHARACTERISTICS OF CHILDERN TRICYCLES AND MINIBIKES TO IDENTIFY THOSE DESIGN AND OPERATIONAL QUALITIES WHICH CONTRIBUTE TO ACCIDENTS WITH THESE VEHICLES. RESULTS ARE EVALUATED IN TERMS OF POSSIBLE SAFETY STANDARDS WHICH THE SPONSORING AGENCY MAY RECOMMEND AT A FUTURE DATE.
