Rock slope risk assessment
Rock slope management requires knowledge of location, traffic levels, and other geometric parameters in addition to the level of hazard to the road user. Priorities for remedial action can be set using this information. This report, one of three in a series dealing with key issues in rock engineering, details a system that was developed to allow assessment and prioritisation on the Scottish road network.
