MANUAL DE CALIDAD PARA MATERIALES EN LA SECCION ESTRUCTURAL DE VIAS FERREAS

Este trabajo presenta un manual actualizado que pretende mejorar la calidad de los materiales de la seccion estructural de vias ferreas. Los volumenes de transito, las caracteristicas del equipo moderno y las altas tasas de crecimiento en el tonelaje transportado y transmitido a la seccion estructural, modifican los tramos que ya no responden a las exigencias actuales . Se considera las necesidades de mejora en la calidad del material en las capas inferiores, cuya reparacion es muy costosa y dificil y el uso de materiales mejor graduados en el balasto para que el contacto entre granos se efectue en varios puntos. Se incluyen tablas, figuras, conclusiones y recomendaciones. Abstract: This paper presents an updated manual that aims to improve the quality of the materials of the structural section of track. Traffic volumes, the characteristics of modern equipment and high rates of growth in tonnage shipped and forwarded to the structural section, modify the sections that no longer meet the requirements imposed by current demands on them. This paper considers the needs of improving the quality of the material in the lower layers, whose repair is very expensive and difficult, and also the use of best graduates materials in the ballast so that the contact between grains takes place at several points. Included tables, figures, conclusions and recommendations.
