AUTOMOBILE DRIVER AS A VARIABLE IN AN ENVIRONMENTAL SYSTEM
DRIVER BEHAVIOR IS ONE ASPECT OF A COMPLEX TECHNOLOGICAL SYSTEM CALLED AUTOMOBILE TRANSPORTATION. AN AUTOMOBILE TRANSPORTATION SYSTEM CAN BE REGARDED AS A MAN-ENVIRONMENT SYSTEM WHICH DEMONSTRATES THAT TRAITS, APPLIED TO THE AUTOMOBILE TRANSPORTATION SYSTEM, MAKE A CASE FOR ADOPTING A TOTAL SYSTEMS APPROACH WHEN DESIGN CHANGES ARE RECOMMENDED FOR ANY VARIABLE. A MODEL IS SUGGESTED WHICH IS ADAPTABLE TO THE EVALUATION-FOR-DESIGN PURPOSES OF MAN-ENVIRONMENT SYSTEM. /AUTHOR/
