FIELD RESEARCH PLANNING FOR DRIVER'S LICENSE LAW ENFORCEMENT
THE PRELIMINARY DESCRIPTION OF A CONTROLLED FIELD EXPERIMENT AIMED AT INCREASING COMPLIANCE WITH DRIVER LICENSING LAWS IS DISCUSSED. THE ENFORCEMENT TECHNIQUE EMPLOYED TO DISCOURGAE DRIVING BY INDIVIDUALS WHOSE DRIVER'S LICENSE HAS BEEN SUSPENDED IS TO REQUIRE ALL DRIVERS TO DISPLAY THEIR DRIVER'S LICENSE ON THE VEHICLE WHILE OPERATING THE VEHICLE. THE DEVELOPMENT OF METHODS TO BE USED TO EVALUATE THE EXPERIMENT IS DESCRIBED. SELECTION OF POTENTIAL LOCATION(S) FOR THE EXPERIMENT IS DESCRIBED.
