MEASURING THE MIND SHIFT WITH EPOMM

The MAX research project on mobility management (2006-2009) has clearly shown that there is a lack of evaluation, evaluation data and standardised evaluation in mobility management in Europe. The European Platform on Mobility Management, EPOMM, has taken up the task to spread and improve the tools developed under MAX and to spread and develop new tools, in order to generally promote, standardise, disseminate and improve the practise of mobility management in Europe. Two new tools will be presented in the presentation: TEMS – The EPOMM Modal Split Database. In TEMS the modal split data of European cities are collected and made available and comparable – online – in a user-friendly way. Currently (September 2011), the modal split data of about 150 cities are available online and the number is growing steadily. MaxEva is a tool to effectively plan, monitor and evaluate MM projects. It provides standardised guidance during all steps of a project, e.g. when setting targets, defining target groups, selecting services and mobility options. MaxEva is also a database – in fact the only truly European database on MM-projects
