Monitoring Long-Term In-Situ Behavior of Installed Fiber Reinforced Polymer: Report III: Analysis and Results of Post-Construction Monitoring for Bridge 7937 in Tucumcari.
The objective of this report is to provide information on the installation and operation of the new structural health monitoring (SHM) system installed on Bridge 7937 in Tucumcari, New Mexico. The new SHM system is based on field programmable gated array (FPGA) technology and operates using wireless communication. This report also describes the installation of solar panels used to power the SHM system with renewable energy. New software specially designed for data analysis and damage detection of Bridge 7937 is described. The new SHM system hardware and software are operational and provide smart monitoring of Bridge 7937 for public safety.
