A COMPUTATIONAL SCHEME FOR MATCHING REQUIRED AND AVAILABLE POWER IN VEHICLE SIMULATION
A COMPUTATIONAL SCHEME IS DESCRIBED THAT WILL ADJUST THE LEVEL OF FORWARD ACCELERATION OF A VEHICLE TO ALLOW THE DESIRED UTILIZATION OF A POWER SYSTEM IN A VEHICLE PERFORMING A TASK REQUIRING TRANSPORT MOTION. THE SCHEME IS COMPUTATIONALLY EFFICIENT IN THAT ONLY ABOUT THREE TRIALS ARE REQUIRED TO FIND THE MATCH POINT OF POWER TRAIN AND VEHICLE SYSTEM. /HSL/
