Simulation Analysis and Control Research of Long Multi-Span Composite Bridge with Incremental Launching Construction
Though composite bridge with steel U girder can save steel decks, it increases construction difficulty, and requires higher control precision. During launching construction, the structure mechanical behaviors are complex. By taking the Hangzhou Jiubao Bridge as the case study, the simulation analysis of the entire incremental launching process was carried out. The variation rules and envelopes of the deformation, and stress and support reaction were obtained. They provided an objective basis for the structural safety evaluation and geometric shape control. Based on the analysis of geometric shape control characteristics of composite bridge locating on vertical curve, control strategy of the launching construction was discussed. Then ascertained pre-assemble angle and slope angle of the end of girder segment as the construction control parameters, and introduced the idea of transfer matrix for the geometric shape control and prediction. Through the engineering practice, high-precision control of geometric shape was achieved. The research results provide a reference for the design and construction of other similar engineering.
