Onwards and upwards

Ports in South America and the Caribbean/Central America registered generally strong performances in their box throughput levels in 2010. This year has also started well with volumes continuing to grow and considerable interest being shown by terminal operators wanting to invest in the region. John Fossey reviews the scene.
