An Active RFID System for Railway Vehicle Identification and Positioning
An active RFID system for railway vehicle identification and position has been designed and developed. Testing was conducted in the Light-Rail System in Hong Kong and the performance was found to be robust. The system caters for passenger information application, and can be applied to various applications including Maintenance System, Vehicles Location/Positioning System etc.
