LNG Heavy Goods Vehicle---The Future Role of Low Carbon Freight Transport by Road
Nowadays the environment issue has been paid much more attention. Road freight vehicles, and especially heavy goods vehicles (HGVs), are facing the low carbon challenge. This paper presents the technology of liquefied natural gas (LNG) as an alternative fuel and it gives a detailed demonstration on adopting LNG fuel for HGVs by using the Grey Situation Decision method. Finally, it presents the future role of LNG heavy goods vehicles on the road freight transport in China.
