Traffic Safety Regional Gradient Characteristics Analysis Based on Geographical Factors
Given the vast territory of China, different regions often have large regional differences. So traffic accident levels show an obvious regional differentiation, because of the differences of geography, climate, economy and social development and many other factors. Based on the cluster analysis with a traffic index, an economic index and geographical factors of the 31 provinces in China, the regional “three steps” is divided, by the study of the accident distribution gradient over the country. By analyzing the accident data of each step, the regional gradient characteristics will be found. It can be helpful and show a new way to the formulation of traffic safety management.
