Evaluation Index System of Transshipment and Repacking Solutions in Railway Container Terminals
Being nodes of intermodal transport network, the railway container terminals need to make efficient plans over transshipment operation to guarantee punctuality of the whole transport network. This paper takes multimodal freight that needs to be repacked as the object of study. It looks into the main factors that cause freight delay through investigation of multimodal freight delay phenomenon during transshipment operation in railway container terminals. Combining the practical requirement of transshipment operation of multimodal freight, an evaluation index system of transshipment and repacking solutions in railway container terminals is proposed. This evaluation index system can be used to range the work of loading and reloading containers for further improvement.
