Layout Optimization of Passenger Station in Kunming Railway Terminal
According to the analysis of the factors that affect passenger station layout in railway terminal, this paper determines the basic principles of passenger station layout in railway terminal. Because the passenger dedicated line joins into Kunming railway terminal and the existing passenger station of Kunming railway terminal—Kunming Station has a lack of the conditions for reconstruction and expansion- the station capacity of Kunming Station can not meet the demand of the recent and long-term passenger transportation, so it is especially necessary to construct a new Kunming passenger station. According to the demand of the passenger volume and the master planning of Kunming, this paper puts forward a compared construction scheme of new Kunming passenger station. Then according to the principles of passenger station layout, the optimal scheme of the new Kunming passenger station location and the construction scale of new Kunming passenger station are determined. At last this paper discusses the labor division between Kunming Station and new Kunming passenger station in the Passenger Transport System of Kunming Railway terminal.
