Tall story
The design and construction of a cable-stayed bridge crossing the Tajo River in Spain is discussed. The bridge, located in the province of Toledo, has an inclined tower and splayed cables and provides a route over the river for a new highway in the town of Talavera de la Reina. Various construction and design elements are delineated, as well as the testing done to ensure reliability.
