Transportation Performance Index: Complete Technical Report - Measuring and Benchmarking Infrastructure Performance, 2011 Supplement
This report updates the 2010 report detailing the creation of a transportation performance index to measure transportation infrastructure performance in the United States. The transportation performance index was designed to correlate with economic performance indicators. It was meant to reflect the transportation performance ability to meet the needs of businesses that aim for economic prosperity. In the 2010 report, transportation performance for the whole nation, was tracked from 1990-2008; and state-by-state values were reported for 1995, 2000 and 2007. Values were also forecast for the nation, and each state, for the year 2015. The current report provides transportation index data through the year 2009, and forecasting data through 2020.
