The Research on Competitiveness of Port Based on the DEA-AHP Model
Port is now playing a leading role in a city's modernization. It not only can propel and drive the economical development of the city it is located in, but also can promote the prosperity of surrounding regions and hinterland. Based on AHP and DEA approach, this article chooses seven ports such as Shanghai, Shenzhen, Hong Kong, Guangzhou, Singapore, Rotterdam, and Hamburg as subjects, and quantitatively evaluates the international competitiveness of ports. According to the final comparative results, the essay analyzes and concludes the existing problems of interactive development in our nation's ports.
