A PLANIMETRIC METHOD FOR OBTAINING MEAN VALUES OF PHOTOMETRIC QUANTITIES IN STREET LIGHTING INSTALLATIONS
THE METHOD DESCRIBED HAS BEEN IN USE AT THE ROAD RESEARCH LABORATORY SINCE 1953, AND IS PRESENTED HERE AS A MEANS OF CALCULATING THE REVEALING POWER OF A STREET LIGHTING INSTALLATION. THE METHOD CAN ALSO BE USED TO OBTAIN MEAN VALUES OF OTHER PHOTOMETRIC QUANTITIES, SUCH AS THE ILLUMINATION ON VERTICAL OBJECTS. /RRL/
