A Case Study of Slope Monitoring for Highway Cut Slope
Slope stability has been an important issue in the geotechnical engineering area. Monitoring of slope movement is the main method for information-based construction. It plays a very important role in slope protection and stability assessment. This paper presents a case study of monitoring of deformation at a slope cut section on the Yu Xiang Expressway. Earth deformation measurement, deep displacement deformation monitoring, geological inspection and other means were used to carry out comprehensive monitoring of the cut slope. Based on monitoring results, the slope was considered stable.
