Dynamic Analysis and Monitoring of Prestressed Concrete Hollow Slab Bridge

The dynamic behaviors of a prestressed concrete hollow slab bridge on Lian-Huo expressway was analyzed by finite element method (FEM) and measured by environmental dynamic monitoring. The vibration frequencies and modes corresponding to top 20 orders of the bridge were obtained by FEM, which show that the top 9 orders are the principal modes and mainly displayed as vertical flexural deflection, the fundamental frequency coincides with the first order principal mode. The dynamic acceleration, fundamental frequency and dynamic deflection of the bridge were measured by the velocimeter and accelerometer with dynamic signal measuring and analysis system. The results of analysis and measuring are compared with each other to evaluate the dynamic characteristics of the bridge.
