Study on Double-SMA Structure of Cement Concrete Bridge
Bridge deck pavement is very important not only for driving comfort but also for the durability of cement concrete bridge. Double-SMA bridge deck pavement is increasingly drawing researchers' attention in recent years. Combined with TaiPu River Bridge, mechanical characteristics of double-shape memory alloy (SMA) deck pavement were studied using the finite element software. In addition, the mechanical requirements of the deck pavement were put forward and, mechanical characteristics of different double-SMA structure were compared. Based on the mechanical analysis results, typical mix types such as SMA16, SMA13 and SMA9.5 were chosen and five different composite structures were obtained. After the high temperature stability, low temperature stability, water stability and the volume indicators of mix all met the requirements of specification, the high-temperature stability test using composite rutting board and adhesive performance test of deck pavement and cement deck were carried out. The test results showed that, with consideration of the high temperature stability and the adhesive performance between the deck pavement and cement board, the SMA13 + SMA9.5 structure is much better than the other composite structures.
