AEG STEERING GEARS ON SUPERTANKERS

The increasing size of tankers makes particular demands on the reliable operation of the steering gear. In addition to a brief description of the components of a steering gear-rotary-vane steering gear, electronic rudder control GEANAVIG and gyro-pilot- the special conditions are explained of which account must be taken in the design and construction of steering gear.
