SINCE 1955 THE STATE OF GEORGIA HAS LACED THOUSANDS OF MILES OF SLURRY SEAL ON VARIOUS TYPES OF PAVEMENTS WITH A HIGH PERCENTAGE OF SATISFACTORY RESULTS. SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE MANUFACTURE AND APPLICATION OF SLURRY SEAL ARE GIVEN, ALONG WITH DESCRIPTIONS OF THE EQUIPMENT USED, PRECAUTIONS DERIVED FROM EXPERIENCE, AND SUGGESTIONS ABOUT THE APPLICATION AND TREATMENT OF THE OVERLAY.
