HIGHWAY MAINTENANCE SERVICE LEVELS
THIS REPORT IS CONCERNED WITH MAINTENANCE QUALITY LEVELS NOW BEING INTRODUCED ON HIGHWAYS THROUGHOUT THE PROVINCE OF ONTARIO. THE QUALITY STANDARDS DISCUSSED HAVE RESULTED FROM A MAINTENANCE MANAGEMENT STUDY BEING UNDERTAKEN AT THE DEPARTMENT OF HIGHWAYS, ONTARIO. THE METHODS OF FORMULATING AND DISTRIBUTING THE STANDARDS ARE GIVEN, TOGETHER WITH A BRIEF OUTLINE OF SOME OF THE PROCEDURES ADOPTED FOR THE TRAINING OF THE MAINTENANCE STAFF. /AUTHOR/
