Determining noise road surfaces using SPB method
Stanovovani hlucnosti povrchu vozovek pomoci metody SPB
The speciality of requirements for health protection in the field of transport is based on the fact, that in comparison with the industry environment, where the access of people is possible to restrict and check, those possibilities in transport are very limited. Therefore it is obvious that it is necessary to identify and evaluate instruments for prevention and protection, design and implement instruments for elimination of potential impacts. In the past, efforts to reduce noise from vehicles were focused especially on reduction of engine noise. The achieved progress in this field was relatively significant and nowadays, particularly at higher speeds, tyre-road noise becomes dominant. The paper deals with the methodology for measurements of the influence of road surfaces on traffic noise which is based on the standard CSN ISO 11819-1 (Statistical Pass-By method).
