MATERIAL NEEDS AND ENVIRONMENT TODAY AND TOMORROW

The final report of the National Commission on Materials Policy for presentation to the President and to the Congress, analyzes the materials, resources and needs of the nation and makes recommendations toward a materials policy. There are implications for transportation in the materials policy to be followed. The report also considers waste disposal and energy problems.
