CORROSION PROTECTION OF BURIED STEEL STRUCTURES WITH POLYURETHANE FOAM
EXPLORATORY WORK HAS INDICATED THAT RIGID POLYURETHANE FOAM IS A SATISFACTORY CORROSION RESISTANT COATING FOR A VARIETY OF BURIED STEEL STRUCTURES. THIS PAPER DESCRIBES RESEARCH CONDUCTED IN AND EVALUATION MADE OF FOAM FORMULATIONS AND PRIMERS FOR FOAM-TO-STEEL ADHESION AS WELL AS A DESCRIPTION OF THE FOAMING PROCESS AND ITS PROTECTION AGAINST CORROSION. /MPP/
