EXPERIENCE WITH TITANIUM STRUCTURES IN MARINE SERVICE
TITANIUM ALLOYS HAVE INCREASING APPLICATION IN MARINE STRUCTURES DUE TO THEIR STRENGTH-TO-WEIGH ADVANTAGES, COMPLETE IMMUNITY TO CORROSION BY SEA WATER, HEAT TRANSFER CAPABILITIES, AND HIGH CORROSION FATIGUE DESIGN LIMITS. IN THIS DISCUSSION, A SERIES OF STRUCTURE DESIGNS ARE REVIEWED ALONG WITH RELATED SERVICE EXPERIENCES. /AUTHOR/
