IN ANY SAMPLING EXPERIMENT, THE RESEARCHER MUST CONSIDER THE DEMAND FOR PRECISION VERSUS THE COST OR SAMPLE SIZE OF THE EXPERIMENT. THIS PAPER PRESENTS A TABLE SHOWING THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN SAMPLE SIZE AND THE PRECISION OF ESTIMATE OF ONE-SIDE TOLERANCE LIMITS. THE TABLE, DEVELOPED BY NON-PARAMETRIC PROCEDURES, REVEALS A DIMINISHING RATE OF RETURN IN PRECISION FOR INCREASING SAMPLE SIZE. /MRS/
