How to Buy Tow-Behind Sealcoating Equipment
A tow-behind sealcoating unit can be a good choice for many contractors. This article discusses some of the advantages of a tow-behind unit over a skid system, and provides suggestions on what a contractor should look for when purchasing a tow-behind unit. Since the tow-behind unit is self-contained, it eliminates the need to unload or reload a truck, it allows for larger tank capacities, and reduces overhead costs for a business because there is not a truck dedicated solely to asphalt sealcoating. Most contractors already have a pickup truck that is capable of pulling a tow-behind unit. Contractors should invest in sealcoating equipment that is not only cost-effective but that will not limit them as their business expands.
