AUTOMATIC FREEZING-AND-THAWING EQUIPMENT FOR A SMALL LABORATORY
AUTOMATIC FREEZING AND THAWING EQUIPMENT IS A VALUABLE TOOL FOR DETERMINING THE PERFORMANCE OF MATERIALS. THE COST OF THE EQUIPMENT, HOWEVER, HAS BEEN A DRAWBACK. AN INEXPENSIVE UNIT DEVELOPED AT UTAH STATE UNIVERSITY HAS PROVEN TO BE SATISFACTORY FOR DURABILITY TESTS. ITS SIMPLICITY MAKES IT SUFFICIENTLY FLEXIBLE FOR ACCEPTANCE TESTS AND RESEARCH, AND THE TESTS HAVE GOOD REPRODUCIBILITY.
