THIS REPORT COMPRISES THREE VOLUMES BOUND AS ONE, AND ABSTRACTED AND INDEXED SEPARATELY. IT IS THE SECOND GENERAL ANALYSIS OF DATA COLLECTED FOR THE INTERSTATE SYSTEM ACCIDENT RESEARCH STUDY AND REPRESENTS A JOINT RESEARCH EFFORT OF THE FEDERAL HIGHWAY ADMINISTRATION AND 40 STATE HIGHWAY DEPARTMENTS. ALL DATA WERE COLLECTED BY A STANDARD PROCEDURE, REVIEWED BY THE STATES, EDITED, AND USED BY FHWA TO PREPARE STUDY FILES.
