LEFT-HAND ENTRANCE AND EXIT RAMPS ON A FREEWAY
THREE FREEWAY INTERSECTIONS WITH LEFT-HAND SIDE ENTRANCE AND EXIT RAMPS ARE INVESTIGATED. THEY ARE IN HARTFORD, NEW HAVEN AND GREENFIELD. ACCIDENT RECORDS ARE STUDIED AND ANALYZED AND THUS THE ACCIDENT RATES AND THE ACCIDENT SUGGESTIONS ARE MADE TO IMPROVE EXISTING AND FUTURE DESIGNS CONTAINING LEFT-HAND RAMPS. IT IS ALSO SUGGESTED THAT A NATIONAL COMPUTER SYSTEM BE ADOPTED TO HELP IMPROVE HIGHWAY SAFETY. /AUTHOR/
